A little group called Salt N Pepa taught us how to "Push It," TV shows like "Cheers" and "The Golden Girls" kept us laughing, and a short man with bushy eyebrows got laughed at for putting on an oversized protective helmet and driving a tank around during his bid for the White House. Meanwhile, on Pigeon Lake in rural northern Wisconsin, a selective group of teenagers spent two weeks learning about Science... and so much more.
