Science World '88
1988. What a year. A little group called Salt N Pepa taught us how to "Push It," TV shows like "Cheers" and "The Golden Girls" kept us laughing, and a short man with bushy eyebrows got laughed at for putting on an oversized protective helmet and driving a tank around during his bid for the White House. Meanwhile, on Pigeon Lake in rural northern Wisconsin, a selective group of teenagers spent two weeks learning about Science... and so much more.

Soooo CUTE!!!! Thanks so much for posting those photos, Aimee! I knew I could count on you to deliver the goods. Yay Halloween! My friend Justine and I dressed up and went to the Halloween parade in Boystown-- she was an undead cheerleader and I was a Brownie (aka not quite a Girl Scout). I'll post the pictures tomorrow!
