Bo Bice: I'm stoked, dude. I just got off stage playing with Lynyrd Skynyrd a minute ago. It was a great show. Got to meet some incredible guests. This is the bee's knees.

Bo, you wuz robbed. You were the more deserving contestant last night... just the fact that you use the phrase "the bee's knees" to describe getting to sing with Lynyrd Skynyrd says it all. You're awesome, Bo. Rock on. Peace.

Kylie Minogue, who is only 37, was just diagnosed with breast cancer and had to cancel the remaining dates on her Showgirl tour. Kylie, you are an inspiration to 30-somethings everywhere. I love you!

Say it ain't so, Danny!

I had a feeling he never got over "The Other Half" being cancelled. Or more specifically, the time the hosts had to dress up like their "The View" counterparts and he spent a whole episode dressed as Joy Behar (that could drive anyone to the bottle).

My thoughts go out to Isabella and Dante. God bless 'em. Here's a photo of Danny in happier times (I think?)...

Enough cats now. This is serious.

Even after all these years, Lisa and I share a deep love... for Danny Bonaduce I mean! We used to love to listen to Danny on The Loop 97.9 in Chicago. She even sent me a tape of one of his entire shows once. Last year, I traveled down to Pasadena for work and got to hear him on Star 98.7 in L.A. -- I was over the moon.

If you haven't heard Danny on the radio, you really don't understand why this news saddens us.

We revel in Danny's drunkenness!

Oh, well. I hope he and the family come out of this relatively unscathed. Selfishly, I'm just waiting breathlessly for the Being Danny premiere!

I'm feeling a little left out being the only one on this blog without kids... but I found a nice baby picture to post. Awww. 

Twixit, you Mini-Whipper!

I got my care package from the Pampered Chef/Andy and DeeDee today-- thank you so much, I had completely forgotten I had requested a citrus peeler... back in 2003, was it? (Kidding.) I was so delighted to find not only the peeler but the aforementioned Twixits as well as the Mini-Whipper and the Quikut (not to be confused with the Suck-Kut "it certainly does suck") Paring Knife! What was it that Bill Murray said in Scrooged... "I've never liked a girl well enough to give her twelve sharp knives"?

Finding that package of colorful plastic and shiny metal objects just made my Monday!
